YMCA Before or After School Group Leaders

Program:  YMCA of Greater Londonderry

Description:  We are looking for Group Leaders! We have immediate openings for energetic, safety-minded individuals dedicated to the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility to provide care for children elementary age children in our before and after school programs located at the Londonderry elementary schools. You will engage a wide variety of youth in fun, educational, and stimulating activities. Our before and after school programs offer arts and crafts, STEM activities, sports, and many other fun opportunities for children. Various Flexible part time shifts are available we have openings Monday-Friday 6:45-8:30am, and/or Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm. Experience in supervising groups of children; CPR/ First Aid preferred but not required.

Site Director Positions After School

Program:  The Nashua Adult Learning Center

Description:  Sunset Heights School - Nashua, NH Before and After School. The Nashua Adult Learning Center provides exciting, enriching afterschool and summer learning programs for 900 schoolage children at 21 sites in Southern NH. We believe our work positively influences the lives of children and youth. We are committed to intentionally planning curriculum that supports the social and emotional development of schoolage children, while offering activities that expand their experiences. We are redefining afterschool! We are looking for an energetic, motivated, committed site directors to lead our programs Monday – Friday for the 2018-2019 school year. Before School 6:30 – 8:30 and After School 2:30 – 6:00. Required: Experience working with children, HS diploma or equivalent and para-educator certification or college credits in education, recreation, child care, or related field. Before and Afterschool Leader

Program:  School Kids in Peterborough (SKIP)

Address:  14 Vine Street, Peterborough, NH (Behind PES)

Description:  Are you energetic, outgoing, creative, fun loving, and patient? SKIP needs someone responsible who can take charge, supervise, engage and inspire children grades K-8. We are looking for staff before school from 6:15-9:00am, and after school from about 2:30-6:00pm.  Hours and days are slightly flexible.  The ideal candidate will have ECE or education credits, and experience with children.  CPR certification is a plus.

Program Director

Program:  Greater Derry Extended Day Program

Description:   Job Title and Description Do you enjoy working with children? Are you looking for a job where you are encouraged to be creative and have fun? Greater Derry Extended Day is a non-profit, state licensed, before and after school program in Derry, NH. We are currently looking for an organized, energetic and creative individual to be a Program Director. This position includes leading an amazing team to create a safe, comfortable, constructive, and most of all FUN environments not filled I for school age children in our before and after school program. Program Directors are responsible for: • Overseeing Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders • Communicating child behaviors and needs with parents • Maintaining safety • Shopping outside regular program hours • Collecting weekly payments from parents • Maintaining paperwork as required by NH Childcare licensing • Organizing and running various activities This position is 25-30 hours per week, September to June, and is salary based on experience. Benefits include optional direct deposit, paid personal/sick time, bereavement leave, and paid maternity leave. CPR/ First Aid training provided by the program.
